Matt Mendians is best known for his work drumming for the progressive rock band 'Glass Hammer'. He joined the group in 2003. During these years he has Opened for 'Kings X', performed live with 'Kanas' guitarist, Rich Williams. He also played on a studio album that features guest singer Jon Anderson from 'Yes' on backing vocals. He is featured on many Cd's and DVD's from mostly 'Glass Hammer' but also other bands and artists. He has opened up for 'Big Head Todd & The Monsters' with his band 'Leslie Road'. He began playing drums at the age of 11 and is now 39 years old. He is originally from Sterling Heights, MI. He attended college at the 'Art Institute of Pittsburgh' in 1990 and graduated in 1993 with a Associate in Specialized Business Degree in the course of Music & Video Business. Afterwards he worked in television. In 1995 he moved to Nashville, TN to pursue a career as a freelance drummer. He has also worked in audio and video in Nashville. Currently he is releasing his first solo record which he wrote, played guitar, drums, and vocals on. The record is titled 'Positive Noise' and is available for download on this site. He is also in the process of producing music for other artists.
